Dominion Curling Club Competition
Free to enter at Club level and the deadline to join at the Callie Club is January 31/2012
Eligibility: - Each team will be allowed a maximum of 2 players under the age of 20, as of December 31 of the year prior to the Championship (ie. 2011) The minimum age of any competitor must be 15 years of age as of December 31, 2011. (Born 1996 or earlier)
- Team Shall consist of four players of same gender that play regularly in a sanctioned club league in the most recent season
- Only one player on the team can have participated in the 10/11 and/or 11/12 curling seasons in the Provincial Men, Provincial Women, Provincial Seniors, Provincial Juniors or played in a Grand Slam event.
Entry Fee: Each Club Championship team that qualifies for Regions will be requires to register their team with the SCA and pay a $60 SCA Competition fee.

Parkinsons The 18th Annual Curling Classic will be held February 18th 2012 with all proceeds going to Parkinson’s Disease Research. Agenda as follows: Saturday February 18th - Just for Fun Curling at the Callie
Southern Men’s Play downs The Southern Men's playdowns got underway at the Swift Current Curling Club Thursday afternoon .In the evening draw. Randy Bryden beat Garrett Vey 8-2. In fridays action Team Bryden defeated Chris Busby 7-5 and Brent Goeres 10-5. Team Bryden lost in the A-final Saturday at 4:30 against Brent Gedak. In the B Qualifier Bryden lost to Busby 6-9. Bryden will play Hartung in the C Qualifier 2 at 2:00 pm on Sunday.
Five teams will advance to the Provincial Men's Tankard in Assiniboia, February 1-5, 2012.
Congratulations to Bryden, Eberle, and Lang for making it out of south. Good luck in provincials.
